6.1. Discuss the proposed 2025-26 Wausa Public School Budget and Proposed Tax Asking.
Discussion:
Mr. Hoesing went over the Wausa Public Schools Proposed Budget and tax asking with the board. The board discussed future planning, including guarding against potential decreases in state and federal revenue in the future, as well as strategic planning and how the budget will accommodate areas of the strategic planning process, especially faciliites.

$100,000 to the Depreciation Fund $20,000 to the Lunch Fund $5,000 to the Employee Benefit Fund

Discussion:
Due to the proposal coming in at far less cost, it was determined to purchase and approve through claims in the September meeting. Motion dies for lack of a motion and a second.
