Call to Order
Discussion:
President F. Kramer called the regular meeting of the Stapleton Public Schools Board of Education to order at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, in the library at Stapleton Public Schools.

Discussion:
Opela, F. Kramer and Supt. Redinger presented highlights from the NASB Convention they attended including featured breakout sessions and guest speakers.

Discussion:
Notice of the meeting was published in the Stapleton Enterprise on Thursday, December 11, 2025, and posted at five local businesses along with notice to the president of the board and all members prior to the meeting date.

Public Comment and Recognition of Visitors
Discussion:
President F. Kramer asked if there was any public comment and referred to the guidelines in the agenda.
Duane McClain addressed the board regarding communication to parents when activity/game times change, funding through grants for possible facility improvements, the School Foundation is hosting a Kentucky Derby celebration the first Saturday in May, Beef in Schools is doing well with the hot lunch program, and other topics on the agenda. Senior sponsor, Jenni Joedeman, along with three seniors addressed the board regarding out of state travel for the senior class. |

Discussion:
The treasurer's report was presented by Superintendent Redinger.

Community Liaison
Discussion:
Bryan Regier gave his Community Liaisons' report which included: Christmas Around Town and Craft Fair well attended, Chamber Reindeer Event and Santa's visit on December 18 from 4-7 p.m., Christmas music programs and annual Chamber Meeting and supper will be January 15th.

Activities Director Report
Discussion:
The Activities Director's report included the following: attended MNAC meeting for AD's, Bound Software free trial for scheduling events, JH wrestling concluded with success and improvement with a great job done by Coach Scott, winter sports update, girl's wrestling tournament went smoothly, Coop Board met and decided to stay with 8-man and opt to D3 classification. A huge thank you to the following for helping with the wrestling tournament: Bridget Weems, Chelsey Myers, Bryan Regier, Klara Dailey, Bobbi Isom, Brian Redinger, Coach Phelps, Kris Phelps, Coach Stutzman and all those that provided food, help set up, tear down and roll up mats.

Principal
Discussion:
7-12 Principal Tillman's report included: presenting teaching staff with reward of administration covering one period of their class, Christmas programs, formal evaluations of non-tenured teachers will be finished this week and students reported having fun at the FFA lockdown with special thanks to Justin Clouse for volunteering to stay the night. Special thanks to Mr. Regier and students for musical performance at Veterans' Day Program which was very patriotic.
PK-6 Principal report included the following: IEP's and MDT meetings, AR news, RARE awards, AQUESTT rankings, elementary Christmas spirit, PK-5 Christmas program was wonderful, and wished everyone a safe and happy holiday. |

Discussion:
The Negotiations Committee has been meeting with the teacher's committee and progress is being made.
The Coop Committee met regarding football classification. |

Superintendent
Discussion:
Superintendent Redinger's report presented information on the following: upcoming ESU Board Member Workshop on Jan 13th, UNK Education Fair on Jan 22th, and 2025 AQUESTT results and highlights.

The Board held discussion regarding the 2026-2027 teacher negotiations.
